Hunter Thomas – Managing Attorney

Griffith “Hunter” Thomas II has a broad range of experience, but primarily practices law in the areas of estate planning, real estate and business. After working for various law firms and companies, Hunter realized that he serves clients and communities best through his own approach and, therefore, founded Thomas Law Firm. Hunter is a licensed attorney in the great state of Texas and in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Texas.

Hunter earned his law degree and MBA from Oklahoma City University. In law school, Hunter was active in the Energy Law Association, Economic Development Law Group, and the Make a Will and Family Financial Planning Program. Before law school, Hunter attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and a certificate in business foundations from the McCombs School of Business. Hunter was an active member of Delta Tau Delta at UT.

Hunter believes that legal services do not belong only to those who can afford it and ensures that he creates time for pro bono work. Hunter volunteers for the Austin Bar Foundation’s Veterans Legal Assistance Program as well as the Small Business Legal Clinic. In addition, being committed to serving his local communities, Hunter serves on the Board of Directors for Burnet County Improvement District No. 1. In both 2023 and 2024, Hunter was voted into Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for the Top Attorneys in Texas.

In his spare time, Hunter enjoys hunting and fishing at his family ranch in the Hill Country, spending quality time with his large family and numerous friends, playing tennis and attending Texas Longhorn athletic events. Hunter is also an active member and volunteer with Ducks Unlimited.

Duncan Farrish – Lead Litigation Attorney

Duncan Farrish is a native East Texan, born and raised in Nacogdoches before spending time in the Texas Hill Country. He primarily focuses on criminal defense and civil litigation, specifically personal injury, commercial litigation, and fiduciary litigation, bringing a strong foundation in advocacy and financial insight to his work.

Duncan earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he served as Vice President of the Beta Tau Chapter of Delta Tau Delta. He went on to earn his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. While in law school, he was a national finalist in the 2023 American Bar Association Mediation Competition as a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution team. He also participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic, where he represented clients in both felony and misdemeanor cases in Bexar County.

During his time at St. Mary’s, Duncan was active in several student organizations, including the Criminal Law Association, Hispanic Law Students Association, and the Federal Bar Association. He is currently a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, two organizations committed to protecting the rights of individuals across the state.

In his free time, Duncan enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, reading, and discussing Texas politics.

Elisa Graves – Firm Administrator

Elisa Graves joined Thomas Law Firm in 2020 and serves as the Firm Administrator, where she plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the firm. Her role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including supervising human resources, managing the support staff, overseeing administrative and billing matters, and handling the firm’s marketing efforts.

A proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Elisa offers extensive experience in the legal field, having worked at multiple law firms throughout her career. Before transitioning into office management, she spent many years as a Senior Paralegal. This background has provided Elisa with a thorough understanding of legal processes and the complexities of case management, equipping her with the expertise needed to excel in her current role.

Outside of her professional duties, Elisa treasures moments shared with her amazing family, including their two dogs, Beau & Belle and wonderful friends.

Andi Wilkerson – Senior Legal Assistant & Paralegal

Andi Wilkerson joined the Thomas Law Firm in 2023 and works as the Senior Legal Assistant and Paralegal. She is a graduate of South Texas College of Law where she earned her J.D. Before attending law school, Andi obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio in International Business.

For the past seven years, Andi has successfully provided support to attorneys through her knowledge and experience of court procedures, government regulations, drafting of legal documents, and handling of client information. Andi has helped pursue personal injury claims on behalf of injured plaintiffs, assisted in high profile civil litigation cases, and has continued to help Thomas Law Firm in real estate and probate matters.

When not busy working, Andi enjoys spending her time painting, cooking, and traveling to new places with her partner, James.
